Despite $3B in Profit, Express Scripts Closes American Facility, But Overseas Call Centers Remain

Express Scripts Is No Friend to the American Worker

Highly profitable corporation cutting more American Jobs while overseas offices stay open

Trevose, PA – On Wednesday, April 12th, nearly 100 workers will be joined by elected officials and community supporters to call out Express Scripts on their announcement to close its facility in Trevose.

While people across Pennsylvania and the country demand more jobs for American families, multi-billion dollar Express Scripts  invests in overseas call centers while putting Pennsylvanians out of work.

The corporation, which made $3.1 billion in profits in 2016 and aggressively markets itself as “pro-union” and worker-friendly, announced the intended closure earlier this month. The decision would leave nearly 200 people unemployed. Some of those affected workers have trained employees in Express Scripts call centers in the Philippines.
